Welcome to Blake School District! We are looking forward to another great year with our families and students.
Our classroom environment has been updated during this past summer. We have new carpet, new desks and tables, and a completely cleaned and upgraded wood flooring.
We will have a new school/parent communication system – Class DoJo. More information will be coming soon regarding the usage of this.
We will be using a new Math series, Amplify Learning. It is an exciting new piece to our curriculum; new books and workbooks, content available on Chromebooks and hands on materials.
There is a change in the schedule for this school year as school will be dismissed for all TK and K students at 12:00 and 1st-8th graders at 2:30 pm. School hours are:
- TK-K: 8:00-12:00 Monday through Friday
- 1st Grade-8th Grade:
8:00-2:30 Monday through Thursday
8:00-1:00 Friday
Parent Conferences are scheduled for the week of Oct. 26-29, dismissal will be at 12:30 and 1:00 each day.
Daily attendance at school is crucial to your child’s success. Please make certain they are at school on time each day unless there is an illness.
Please do not have your child come to school any earlier than 7:45 am each school day. There will be no supervision before 7:45 am and we do not want your child to be unattended.

Immunization Information
It is the parent’s responsibility to review immunization records with your physician to ensure your child’s immunizations are current and up to date. If your child receives any this year, please forward a copy of the immunization record to the school office.
Please note all 7th grade students must receive a booster of MMR, DTP and Hepatitis B. Please make arrangements for your 7th grade student to receive their booster immunizations. Retain for your records.
